Josefa works in the Compliance area of FerradaNehme, where she was previously a paralegal. She studied at Universidad Diego Portales, where she was a teaching assistant in Criminal Law, with professors Jorge Mera and Miguel Viveros, and Administrative Law I and II courses, with professor Matías Guiloff.

At the University, she participated in the Criminal Study Group, focused on debating different criminal matters, with expert guests for each matter. Moreover, in 2016 she won the Desafío Pro Bono contest –a program of the Pro Bono Foundation for law students– with the project “Calle Libre”, intended to inform people regarding the preventive identity control, introduced by the “Ley de Agenda Corta” during August of the same year.

Josefa holds two diplomas, one in Personal Data Protection from the Universidad de Chile and another one in Impacts of Technology and Law from the Universidad de los Andes.
