Daniela holds a law degree from the Universidad de Chile (2007), a Master's in Public Administration and Economic Policy from the London School of Economics (2011), and a LLM in Competition Law from University College London (2012).
Between 2016 and 2023, she was a member of the Competition Court, first as a reporting lawyer and then as a full member. This experience, in an interdisciplinary institution, allowed her to appreciate the diversity of different points of view and delve deeper into the richness of competition law, an area where different branches of law converge and where it is essential to understand how dynamic and dissimilar markets operate.
Previously, she served as director of the Competition area at FerradaNehme (2015–2016), prosecutor for the Chilean Association of Power Generators (2014–2015), and legal advisor to the Ministry of Finance (2007–2009).
In the academic sphere, she teaches competition courses and is the academic director of the Master's in Business Law at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI). She has also published several works on competition.
