Roberto is the director of our Corporate practice group, where he specializes in mergers and acquisitions, financial regulation, capital markets, and corporate law.

His practice focuses on advising both Chilean and international clients, including multinational financial groups, on their transactions and investments in the Chilean market. Roberto has provided counsel on cross-border M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, and project financing.

He has also advised bondholders and issued legal opinions on different matters related to capital markets and financial regulation. Additionally, he has participated in the structuring and negotiation of complex agreements for the implementation of business alliances, distribution agreements, marketing contracts, among others.

He also provides ongoing legal advice to support the management and daily operations of business groups and companies established in Chile.

Roberto is a lawyer from the University of Chile, where he also earned a Diploma in Securities Market Law in 2020, and holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law from New York University (2019). He began his career in the Corporate Law department at Claro y Cía. before joining FerradaNehme in 2019.
