Sebastián is an Associate in the Competition and Regulation practice area at FerradaNehme. He is a lawyer from the Universidad de Chile and a holds a Diploma in Legal Analytics from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.

His professional practice focuses on competition law and economic regulation. Prior to joining FerradaNehme, he worked at Bofill Mir Abogados, served as a research attorney at the Competition Center (CeCo) of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and in 2022 completed an internship with FerradaNehme’s Competition and Regulation team.

In the academic field, Sebastián has served as a teaching assistant for courses including History of Law I and II, Moral Philosophy, History of the Philosophy of Law, and Introduction to the Philosophy of Science at the University of Chile. He has also been an adjunct instructor for the specialization course “Collusion: the Supreme Evil of Competition” at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.

He is the author and co-author of several publications on competition law, such as “Personal Data Exploitation as Excessive Pricing: A Review of the Bundeskartellamt Facebook Case”; “An X-ray of the Chilean Competition Law Market (2014–2022)”; “An X-ray of the Competition Economics Consulting Market in Chile (2014–2022)”; and the “2024 Perception Study of Practicing Lawyers on Competition Institutions and Authorities (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru)”.
