Diego has belonged, in different roles, to the Competition and Regulation area of FerradaNehme. He has studied a Diploma in Competition Law and Policy at the Universidad de Chile, a Master in Economic Regulation at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, an LL.M. in Competition Law and a Master in Economics for Competition Law, both at King's College London.

Since joining FerradaNehme, he has been actively involved in the most diverse areas covered by competition law and policy, with a vision that combines legal and technical aspects that are particularly complex. In fact, he has led the preparation of reports and legal opinions; antitrust compliance programs; the representation of clients in proceedings of important public connotation before the Antitrust Court and before the National Economic Prosecutor's Office, particularly in merger proceedings and other investigations related to cartels and abuse of dominant position. All this, in a considerable number of industries, both regulated and non-regulated, and at the request of both private and public clients, combining the legal approach to this type of problems with the necessary economic view that underlies them.

Diego has complemented this deep practical experience with a strong interest in academic activities. In that context, he has taught Antitrust Law since 2011 at the Universidad de Chile and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in both graduate and postgraduate programs. He also has a relevant number of publications both in Chile and in the United Kingdom.

Since his promotion to partner in 2018, Diego has been repeatedly recognized by the most prestigious international rankings, such as Chambers& Partners, The Legal500 and Leading Lawyers.
