Catalina is director of the Competition and Economic Regulation area, where she has developed all her professional practice, from 2014 to date. She has actively participated in preventive advice to different clients from regulated and unregulated industries, as well as to public agencies, through the preparation of reports and legal opinions. Likewise, she has extensive experience in litigation before the Chilean Antitrust Court, investigations carried out by the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office and in the analysis of concentration operations. She also has an extensive practice in the design and implementation of compliance programs in competition matters and has collaborated in the development of several matters related to administrative law and consumer law, for which he has had to interact with different administrative authorities, in particular, with the National Consumer Service.

In 2010, she was awarded by the Universidad de Chile with the Editorial Jurídica de Chile Award for the best GPA of the generation, and in 2012 she was awarded the Microjuris.com Award for the third-best graduation GPA.

In the academic field, she has been a teaching assistant to different courses at the Universidad de Chile, and during 2021 she has been a professor of Competition Law at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
