Carolina is part of the Environment and Natural Resources area. She is a lawyer from the Catholic University of Valparaíso and has six diploma courses from the same university, among them: Environmental Law, Responsible Mining and Administrative Sanctioning Law. She also completed courses at the Universidad de Chile, Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and Universidad de Salamanca in the areas of indigenous peoples, indigenous consultation, state patrimonial responsibility and water law and management, among others.
As part ofher work experience, Carolina worked as an Instructing Attorney for the Superintendency of Environment, and previously as an associate attorney for the firm Moreno, Sáez y Avilés.
As for her academic experience, she was a collaborating professor of Environmental Legislation at the School of Mining and Geomatics of INACAP, and of Sustainability in Construction at the Catholic University of Valparaíso, as well as a professor of Environmental Legislation at the Institute of Geography of the same university.
