Member of the Competition Law and Economic Regulation team at FerradaNehme, Sebastián has been a valuable contribution to the area, collaborating in the permanent advice of clients in these matters, as well as in his representation before judicial and administrative agencies; in the analysis of concentration operations; and, likewise, in the drafting of legal reports and in preventive advice and compliance programs.

In 2016 he was appointed director of the area, in recognition not only of his extensive knowledge of the theory and practice of competition law and regulation, especially in the field of the telecommunications industry, but also for his leadership role and guides in the different matters and teams in which he participates.

As of 2021, after settling with his family in Uruguay, Sebastián becomes of counsel of the area, thus initiating a new stage in his contribution to the collaborative work of FerradaNehme, now from a new perspective, mainly fulfilling the role of strategic advisor in different cases and matters of competition and regulations, as well as support to the partners and directors of the area in substantive matters.

Since 2019, Sebastián has regularly assisted and supported our partner Nicole Nehme in her different courses taught at the Universidad de Chile, acting as assistant professor and leader of her team of teaching assistants, both in person and online.
