Gonzalo is member of the Competition area of FerradaNehme. His work experience has focused on areas of commercial, corporate, and regulation law. Prior to joining FerradaNehme, he was an associate at the Núñez, Muñoz y Cía law firm.

Gonzalo has continued his academic development, completing in 2023 a Diploma in Economic Regulation at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Regulation at the same university. Additionally, he completed two courses, one on Abuse of Dominant Position and Vertical Restraints at his university and another one on Competition and Energy at Universidad de Los Andes.

For his educational background, he studied law at the School of Law at the Universidad de Chile, where he was teaching assistant of Procedural Law, with Professor J.D. Raúl Núñez Ojeda. In 2017, he organized the 3rd Congress of Law and Economics for the Universidad de Chile and has participated in different academic activities related to competition law of the same university.

In 2020 and 2021 he participated as a speaker at the Academic Society for Competition Law (ASCOLA) Seminar, Latin America chapter, where he also debated about institutional design, merger control and cartel prosecution with other professionals in the region.
