Mr. José Zalaquett was an important Chilean public figure and an internationally renowned and preeminent figure in the world of human rights. As of counsel at our law-firm, and in his capacity as good man par excellence, he assisted clients with his experience as an arbitrator or mediator, in addition to providing universal viewpoint to many of our jobs, in other practice groups.

Mr. Zalaquett was a pioneer in studying, releasing and teaching Human Rights Law, and his advice was frequently requested by multiple countries undergoing reconstruction, reunion and reconciliation processes. For us it is a great priviledge to have had an extremely valuable and talented man, who also gave us his vast knowledge, wisdom and advice.
