Cristóbal is a lawyer from the Universidad de Chile, with more than seven years of professional and academic experience in competition and economic law. His practice includes representing companies and trade associations before the Antitrust Court, the Supreme Court, and the National Economic Prosecutor's Office, as well as advising on matters of personal data protection, cybersecurity, and regulation of new technologies.
He has led professional teams of lawyers and paralegals and participated in regulatory discussions with public and trade organizations, collaborating in the development of guidelines and regulatory projects on mergers, economic crimes, and corporate compliance. He has also designed and implemented compliance and training programs in industries such as energy, transportation, health, media, and mass consumption.
Cristóbal holds a Master's degree in Economic Analysis from the Universidad de Chile and holds an LL.M. in Competition Law at King's College London, specializing in competition. He is a professor of Economic Law at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, as well as the author of a book and various articles and chapters in specialized works, all on competition and economic regulation.
