Javiera is a member of FerradaNehme’s Corporate Law practice and holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she also completed an exchange program at King’s College London. Throughout her career, she has advised domestic and international companies on corporate matters, including M&A transactions, capital markets, corporate restructurings, and financing transactions.
Before joining FerradaNehme, she worked as a Foreign Legal Advisor at Winston & Strawn LLP in New York, as part of the firm’s LatAm Group. Prior to that, Javiera was a member of KPMG’s Global Legal Services Group until 2023 and, before that, she was an associate at Morales & Besa until 2019.
Most recently, she was recognized with the International Pro Bono Excellence Institutional Integrity Award from the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice in May 2025 for her contribution to the preparation of a report supporting the creation of a judicial council for the Costa Rican Judges Association.
Academically, she earned an LL.M. in Corporation Law from New York University School of Law and a Diploma in Tax Analysis and Management from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
